BodyGlide Anti Friction Skin Formula

Skin Formula is a unique all natural skin lubricant created to stand up to rubbing and moisture, prime causes of skin irritation. It helps stop skin trouble before it starts, and it helps aviod the need for first aid products. It is remarkably comfortable and reliably effective. Skin Formula is not another liquid, powdery substance, lotion, potion–or an empty promise.

Friction, or rubbing, is a root cause of blisters, chafing, saddle sores, rash, and other forms of skin irritation.

Skin Formula helps guard against friction - and it helps moisturize skin and protect it against dryness, cracking, and a range of specialized skin needs. It works in dry, hot, cold, humid, and even wet conditions - and it stands up to wind, fresh and salt water.

Year after year, and around, the world, the extent of the reliability of this product is demonstrated in sports. Marathon runners, cyclists, triathletes, and adventure racers depend on Skin Formula to see them through the toughest competition.

The formula combines all natural plant-derived triglycerides (waxes), with aloe and vitamin e – and it’s packaged in a convenient stick. Skin Formula is not messy and it does not evaporate - which sets it apart from all the products made with petroleum, mineral oil, lanolin, water or alcohol. It works with surface skin cells to create an invisible barrier. It feels soft, not oily, sticky or wet, it’s invisible, and it doesn’t fly away like a powder. Instead, it works and stays where you apply it.

BODYGLIDE SKIN FORMULA - FAQ;

1.What is it?
It creates an invisible barrier that helps protect you skin, but without using any petroleum, mineral or other oils such as lanolin, and no water or alcohol. Instead, it is made with plant-derived triglycerides—no animal products or animal testing.

2.What will it do for me?
It will help keep you comfortable by protecting your skin against irritation that can lead to chafing, blisters, saddle sores and more. It can also help moisturize dry and cracked skin.

3. Where do you apply it?
You apply it to bare skin in vulnerable areas—anywhere skin rubs against skin, footwear, and any clothing that rubs against your skin.

4. Everywhere?
Yes—and that includes sensitive areas including in the area of genitals—male & female.

5. Who recommends it?
A wide range of professionals in sports and medicine including dermatologists, and manufacturers of footwear and apparel.

6. How long has it been available?
Since 1996.

7. Who can use it?
Most everyone troubled by occasional minor skin irritation—from rash and rubbing, to chafing and blisters. For serious, recurring or prolonged problems, you need to see a health care professional.

8. Why is it packaged in a stick?
The ingredients are blended to form a semi-soft balm.

9. Why not a squeeze tube or a jar?
We wanted to make it hands-free, easy to use, convenient. Products squeezed from tubes or in jars are applied by hand—and then you need to clean your hands.

10. But there’s no petroleum?
Some people are allergic to petroleum—and most people don’t like the way petroleum feels. Petroleum doesn’t penetrate the skin. It slides over the top. It is gooey, messy, it stains, and it rubs off. It needs reapplication. No petroleum—known generically as petrolatum.

11. Does it require reapplication?
Usually not. Marathon runners pound the ground for 26.2 miles—use it on their feet, between their thighs, on nipples, around sports bras, all over. They use Skin Formula and go the distance.

12. How does it come off?
Very easy—but only with mild soap and water.

13. What does it feel like?
Skin Formula is non-greasy, non-messy, and it’s absorbed by the skin like a moisturizer. It gives your skin a greaseless barrier against friction and moisture—prime causes of skin irritation.

14. How does it work to protect skin?
It works two ways. It helps reduce friction on your skin—and, because it stands up to water, it protects against moisture. And it penetrates your skin.

15. What’s the relationship between friction, moisture and skin irritation?
Skin becomes chafed or blistered when rubbing tears into the surface. The rubbing can be from clothing, sportswear, footwear, swimwear, etc.—or when skin rubs against skin, itself. That irritation is caused by rubbing—friction. The effects of friction are heightened when there is moisture (perspiration).

16. Will it block my skin from breathing?
For most people, no. Some people who are vulnerable to blocked pores are advised to discontinue use if necessary. Other products that block pores include antiperspirants, soaps, and products that are made with oils.

17. What about sun protection?
We added SPF 25 to make Sun Formula. You can use it just for a sun block, just for protection against skin irritation, or for both.

18. What does it smell like?
Basically, nothing.
